WebCD Globe Viewing Pages


The Browser View in the Packager operates like a standard Web browser. The mouse pointer changes to a hand when you move the mouse over a hypertext link. Clicking when the mouse pointer is over a hypertext link will display the indicated page.

Bullet   To return to the previous page, choose Back from the Navigate menu
Bullet   To go to the next page, choose Forward from the Navigate menu.
Bullet   To return to the Home page, choose Home from the Navigate menu

You can also view pages by double clicking on items in the Bookmarks View or Retrieval View.

Tips

Bullet Cancel a page that is taking too long to display by choosing the Stop command from the Navigate menu.
Bullet Refresh the contents of a page by choosing the Refresh command from the Navigate menu.
Bullet You can view live Web pages or retrieved web pages by using the WebCD WebCD Link Button and Web Live Live-Link Button buttons on the Browser View toolbar (or the equivalent commands on the Navigate menu).
Bullet Various functions are available by right-clicking in the Browser View. Depending upon where the mouse pointer is positioned on the page, various functions are available from the right-click pop-up menu:
  • If your mouse pointer is positioned in an open area of the page (that is, NOT on a graphic or on a link) you have the option to view the HTML source (View Source option).
  • If you are positioned on a graphic, you have the option to save the picture to another file name or location (Save Picture As option) or to save the picture as wallpaper ( Save as Wallpaper option).
  • Select Properties to see the file name and location of the graphic, HTML file, or other Web Content file where your mouse pointer is currently positioned. If the file is retrieved, the name and location of the file as retrieved into your WebCD project is displayed. If the file is not retrieved, the file's Web address will be shown.
Bullet Copy text from a page by using the Select All option or by dragging to highlight text you wish to copy.
